⏰ Will SEPTA see state funding? The clock is ticking…
Time is running out for SEPTA to receive state funding. In fact, lawmakers have until June 30 to finalize a budget that could help the area’s transportation authority.

The Pennsylvania legislature is debating who should bailout the massive transportation company, with elected officials nearest the city seeking state aid, while others oppose the funding.
“This burden should not be placed entirely on Pennsylvania taxpayers, most of whom do not live within the service region and do not realize any benefit from SEPTA,” said Sen. Pittman in a statement.
