🚨 Failure to launch

A Philadelphia man fled the scene of a two-car accident on Interstate 95 and jumped off a bridge in an apparent attempt to escape cops, but was still taken into custody.

The overturn crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday near mile marker 31.5 between the Academy Road and Cottman Ave. exits in Northeast Philadelphia. Witnesses told police one of the drivers had fled on foot and leapt off the bridge.

State troopers then found Jigar N. Parekh underneath the bridge. He appeared to have suffered a broken ankle and leg and showed several signs of drug impairment. He was arrested without incident and taken to a local hospital; charges are expected pending an investigation.

🏎️ A $1 billion family fun pitch in Atlantic City

Courtesy of the Claridge Hotel

A New York firm wants to spend 10 figures to revitalize two Atlantic City properties … and without accepting a single wager.

Vivo Investment Partners wants to turn the sites of the Claridge Hotel and former Sands Casino Hotel into an entertainment hub for all ages. Proposed plans include go-karts and e-sports, a minor league baseball field and a ski slope. The project would also boast a 1,500 apartment-unit building, an 800-room hotel, along with retail shops, restaurants and open space. And there would be no gambling.

Brighton Park, which sits between the sites, would also be transformed into an outdoor recreation space that can hosts concerts and events but also serve as an ice skating venue in the winter.

🚔 A wild incident in Montco

Talk about a party foul.

A Hatboro woman — and U.S. Marineallegedly fired a gun in Montgomery Township after being told her she was too drunk to drive home with her kid after a children’s birthday celebration.

Kaylee Sarah Douglas, also known as Kaylee Muntz, was charged with aggravated assault and misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of children, terroristic threats, possession of a weapon and recklessly endangering another person. The 25-year-old is accused of firing a Glock twice around 11:50 p.m. last Saturday.

Witnesses said she arrived at a McKean Court residence after the kid's party ended and became intoxicated to the point she urinated and vomited on herself. She then tried to leave with her three-year-old child and was told she could either call an Uber or sleep over. Douglas then allegedly tried to leave a second time and was stopped before pointing her gun at several people before firing it. No one was injured in the incident and Douglas complied with police once they arrived on the scene.
