Philadelphia School District becomes first in U.S. to face criminal charges over asbestos failures
It certainly isn’t an issue exclusive to the Philadelphia region, but the city’s school district will be leading the way when it comes to criminal charges related to asbestos failures.
A five-year criminal investigation into the matter has resulted in charges for the district, a first in American history.
