🚨 Mass shooting in Fairmount Park

An adult man and woman died. Nine people were injured, including three teenagers. All were said to be in stable condition; a 10th person was hit by a vehicle in the mayhem.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near Lemon Hill and Poplar Drives. It is in the vicinity of where the FIFA Fan Fest for next year’s World Cup games will be held.

Philadelphia Police said officers heard gunshots and immediately responded. They have not yet determined a motive; cops said the assailants opened fired into a crowd. No arrests have been made or guns recovered; cops believe there were at least three gunmen.
