🚨 Barstool bar incident becomes national news

Mo Khan (via his GiveSendGo page)

An antisemitic incident at a Barstool Sports-owned bar on Sansom Street has dominated headlines.

Footage surfaced on social media from last weekend of a bottle service sign that read “F—k the Jews” at the venue. The video received widespread condemnation and caught the attention of Barstool founder Dave Portnoy, who is Jewish. Portnoy fired at least two employees who allowed the sign to be created and said he would fund a trip to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland for the people responsible for the sign in order to make the incident a teachable moment. Temple University also suspended a student for their alleged involvement.

But the suspended Temple student, Mo Khan, has since denied involvement and launched his own fundraising campaign. He also appeared on an internet program hosted by an anti-semite, claiming he was working as a “citizen journalist” during the incident. Portnoy has ripped Khan, calling him a “flat liar” and claiming Khan took responsibility in a previous call with him.
